Cedar ‘Celebrating Success Awards’ Shines Light on Improvement & Innovation

Friday 15 June 2018

We recently held our new Showcasing Talent, Achieving Results (STAR) Awards for staff and volunteers at Malone House, Belfast.  The launch of the newly branded awards have been designed to highlight and recognise the stellar contribution both staff and volunteers make across the organisation in delivering our vision of an inclusive society for all. STAR Award winners received bespoke awards and staff with over twenty years service were also recognised with a special award.

Conferring the awards, Professor Maurice Mulvenna, Cedar Chairperson said “Supporting individuals to reach their full potential has always been one of the strong characteristics of Cedar as an organisation.  We rely on the expertise, personal commitment, empathy and understanding of staff to deliver the kind of quality and excellent services that we all aspire to.  The Executive Committee know that everywhere throughout this organisation, there are individuals who have great ideas and have innovative ways of approaching what can often seem intractable and difficult problems.  These awards shine a light on this incredible work that happens in Cedar on a daily basis.”
