The bikes were prominent on the beachside at Crawfordsburn Country Park, as were the Scouts in their bright orange and black t-shirts.

Sergio Dominguez, Disability Sports Officer at Cedar and volunteer Gerard engaged with 500 Scouts and Leaders from all parts of Northern Ireland who were taking part in a 24 hour activity challenge. They also engaged with many members of the public, who were keen to hear more about the accessible cycling programme and see the bikes up close.

Peter Wilson, Burn 24 Camp Organiser (and Cedar Staff Member) explained “I knew the bikes would be a real attraction and it helped deliver a strong message to the Scouts about disability awareness. Young people want to try new and different activities and Sergio had a queue of people all day wanting to try out the bikes!”
